Technique is applicable to all styles of bellydance. Choreographies and dance combinations may be folkloric, American, Egyptian, or Lebanese influenced.
Beginner to Advanced
Stacey began studying bellydance in 1995. In 2001, she was introduced to Suhaila Salimpour’s format and has been hooked ever since. Certified Level I in 2001, Level II in 2002, Level III in 2008, and Level IV in 2009; Stacey is currently pursuing her Level V certification. She enjoys cross training in other physical pursuits such as ballet, jazz, Pilates, weight training, running and yoga. She has attended numerous bellydance workshops throughout the years with instructors from around the world: Momo Kadous, Randa Kamel, Yasmina of Cairo, Aida Nour, Mo Geddawi, Farida Fahme, Jillina, Magda & Atef Farag, Aziza, Bozenka, Delilah, and many others.
The most inspiring performances fuse strong technique with personal style, passion, honesty and inventiveness. Bellydance as art is a lifelong pursuit and an ongoing personal process.

Annual student recitals and periodic dance opportunities for group performances.
Angela has been belly dancing since 1998 and has a BFA in Theatre and Dance. She studied the Erick Hawkins Modern Dance Technique at Texas State University and is a RYT 200 certified Yoga Instructor.
Angela’s Belly Dance classes incorporate strong foundational technique with fluid arm and hand movements and modern dance stylings. Influences include tribal fusion, traditional cabaret technique, and modern dance

Beginning through Advanced.
Angela will teach one hour group classes for groups of 4 or more at your location or with studio rental. The class can be tailored to the skill level and style desired, including:
- Basic Belly Dance Technique
- Intermediate/Advanced Belly Dance Technique
- Tribal Fusion
- Belly Dance Sequences for Zumba or Dance Jam Classes
- Other specialty topics such as choreography and performing with live musical accompaniment
Women of all ages, shapes, colors and sizes are embraced as sisters of the dance. We have nationally and internationally known dancers who live and teach in Austin.
